PhD Thesis on Business Process Compliance

On April 25, 2013 Linh Thao Ly successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled

“SeaFlows - A Compliance Checking Framwork for Supporting the Process Lifecycle”

at the University of Ulm, Germany. The DBIS team is pleased to congratulate Thao on her successful PhD defense and wishes her all the best for his future. Thao's PhD advisor and PhD promotor has been Prof. Dr. Stefanie Rinderle-Ma (DBIS alumni, see picture together with Thao).

Manfred Reichert was invited keynote speaker at the International IFIP Working Conference on Enterprise Interoperability (IWEI 2013) - IWEI'13 took place in Enschede, The Netherlands from March 27-28, 2013. In his keynote entitled "Collaboration and Interoperability Support for Agile Enterprises in a Networked World: Emerging Scenarios, Research Challenges, Enabling Technologies", Manfred discussed major research challenges to be tackled when targeting at IT support for the agile enterprise.
