Manfred Reichert is New Chairman of GI SIG EMISA

At 13 September 2012, the GI SIG EMISA (Special Interest Group on Development Methods for Information Systems and their Application) elected Prof. Dr. Manfred Reichert (University of Ulm) as new chairman of its executive board. EMISA has about 700 members.

gi-logo-gruenManfred's representative will be Prof. Dr. Jan Mendling (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien); Jan will also take over the role as Managing Editor of the EMISA Forum filled by Manfred in the period from 2006 - 2012. The present chairman, Prof. Dr. Mathias Weske (Hasso-Plattner Institute Potsdam, on camera with Manfred Reichert), will resign after 6 successful years by end of this year. 

The new executive board of EMISA comprises the following members:

  • Fernand Feltz (Centre de Recherche Public - Gabriel Lippmann, Luxembourg)
  • Ulrich Frank (University of Essen-Duisburg)
  • Andreas Gadatsch (University of Applied Sciences Siegburg-Bonn)
  • Agnes Koschmider (KIT Karlsruhe)
  • Jan Mendling (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien)
  • Hansjürgen Paul (IAT Gelsenkirchen)
  • Manfred Reichert (University of Ulm)
  • Stefanie Rinderle-Ma (University of Vienne)
  • Ulrich Reimer (University of Applied Sciences  St. Gallen)
  • Mathias Weske (HPI, Uni Potsdam)
